高职学生词汇学习策略培训研究

词汇是语言教学中的一个重要环节,词汇的掌握程度对听、说、读、写、译等语言能力有着极其重要的作用。因此,很多学者、教师对词汇学习做了研究以帮助学生提高词汇学习效率。然而与其他学习策略相比较,词汇学习策略的研究仍处于较低的水平,而对外语学习者的词汇学习策略培训研究更为有限。尽管如此,目前的研究者普遍认同使用不同形式的词汇学习策略可以促进词汇的理解、记忆与运用,对学习者进行词汇策略的培训能提高词汇学习策略使用水平、词汇成绩以及自主学习能力。在本文中,笔者在回顾了前人对词汇学习策略以及词汇学习策略培训的研究,以Gu&Johnson的词汇学习策略分类为基础设计调查问卷,对武汉纺织大学60名高职学生进行了词汇学习策略调查。根据调查结果分析,笔者选取了构词法策略和上下文策略进行培训。笔者将自己所教授的两个班随机划分为实验班和对照班,并通过词汇测试证明这两个班在进行词汇策略培训前词汇成绩没有显著差异。在对实验班进行为期一个学期的策略培训之后,笔者对学生的各项测试进行数据分析,表明实验班词汇测试成绩高于对照班。此外,为了进一步了解学生对词汇策略的认识程度和对词汇培训的态度及评价,笔者在实验结束后根据词汇后测成绩在实验班抽取12名学生进行了词汇策略培训的访谈。结果表明词汇策略培训对学生的词汇水平有显著帮助。本研究为教师全面深入地了解高职学生词汇学习的特点,并在此基础上进行策略培训提供了一些有益的启示与建议。
