论文摘要
创立于1997年的单一民族党是一个反亚、反移民、反土著的澳大利亚右翼政党。该党逆潮流而动,反对多元文化,主张澳洲应以白人为单一民族立国,曾一度在昆士兰州选举中夺得十一个议席,在全国获得高达百分之十的选民,俨然成为左右澳大利亚政坛的第三大政治势力,引发了亚洲各国的焦虑与关注。然而该党在此后的大选中逐渐衰落,党内陷入分裂,声望一落千丈;这一现象也在亚洲激起了相当规模的反响与讨论。本文回顾了单一民族党的背景与形成,探究了其兴衰成败的原因及影响。
