以学生为主的英语教学 ——关于新财院非英语少数民族学生英语学习

论文摘要

人类的行为都源于一定的动机，学习英语也不例外．形成外语学习的基本动机有两种：融合性动机和工具性动机，内在动机和外在动机和其它几种动机是影响外语学习的主要因素，与传统的课程相比较，以学生为中心的课程理论和教学方法有很大优点，它能够对教育产生很深刻的影响。虽然非英语专业少数民族本科学生的英语教学在我校始于己于人1985年，然而课堂教学主要采用传统法教学法，教学对象大部分初学者，学生语言应用能力普遍薄弱，英语教学效果不理想．本论文旨在探讨以下几个问题：学生学习英语过程中的需求(欠缺)是什么?为什么有些学生学习英语动机如此差?我们怎样才能帮助我校的非英语专业少数民族学生把英语学好?论文从教材，教学方法，师资，英语学习环境等方面分析，对我校非英语专业少数民族学生的自身优点和存在问题，提出了师资培训，建立自主学习中心，开发校本教材，尽可能真正做到因材施教，以学生为中心．学习动机，学生中心，非英语专业少数民族学生，语言环境，课程设置，教材
