论大学生冒险精神对英语口语交际能力的影响

论文摘要

有关学生性格特征与语言交际能力关系的研究，作为英语教育的一个热点问题由来已久，成果也颇丰富。Ely C.M.(1986)，和Beebe L.M.(1983)等人做了与这方面相关的研究，并指出冒险精神对于语言学习和运用有很大的促进作用。对英语交际能力的探讨，Chomsky (1965)在他的《句法学理论面面观》里提出他的语言学理论，引领了国内外对交际能力的探讨。然而，就学习者的冒险精神与英语口语交际能力之间的关系研究，目前尚未全面展开。本文基于前人的这些研究成果，以及建构主义模式，信息处理模式和归因模式等理论基础，对大学英语专业二年级学生进行调查，使用定量和定性研究相结合的方法。首先，作者通过调查问卷和访谈的实证方法，得出冒险精神的程度；然后对英语口语交际能力进行测试，并对所得数据进行分析；最后探讨冒险精神与英语口语交际能力流利度与准确度两个方面之间的相互关系，并分析影响学习者英语口语交际能力增长的各方面因素。调查数据表明：冒险精神与英语口语交际能力的流利度大体上成正相关的关系，而与准确度大体上成负相关的关系；但是，英语口语交际能力的表现形式不是单一的，其影响因素也呈多样化的结构，并且各因素之间也存在相互作用的关系。本研究的结果为现代英语教学实践提供了一些参考性意见，为交际教学法提供了一些有力的佐证。
