典故的认知研究 ——《围城》典故分析

典故的精妙之处在于含蓄,在于其浓缩的丰富的背景内容和延伸意义。每个典故都有它的历史文化根源。而用典者的用意却是意在典故之外。因此,如何能够准确理解典故的意思和其在文本之中的作用成为关键问题。典故的范畴广泛,有的界限也不明确。根据《中国典故大辞典》(2005)的分类,可将典故分类为事典和语典。所谓“事典”是指诗文等作品中引用的古代神话传说故事,历史故事,寓言故事,宗教故事等。“事典”相对来说比较明确。诗文等作品中的某个词语或句子,只要它包含了一个古代故事或故事某一方面的意义,它就具备了典故的资格。所谓“语典”是指诗文中引用的有来历出处的词语。“语典”相对来说是比较复杂的。本文所用的例子选自小说《围城》,所选典故包含“事典”和“语典”。弗科尼亚在心理空间理论的基础上建立了概念整合理论。心理空间的映射错综复杂地建立起我们的概念网络,而这种映射在意义建构中扮演了主要角色。概念整合就是将两个输入心理空间通过跨空间的部分映射匹配起来,以输入空间元素之间的相似特征即类属空间为投射的基础,将两个输入空间有选择地投射到另外一个空间,即合成空间。新的概念范畴由此得以建立。在概念整合理论的指导下,以小说《围城》中所选典故作为语料,本文将跨空间映射模式应用于探讨典故意义的理解过程。本文将所选语料按照弗科尼亚提出的四种网络结构类型进行分类分析。本文共分五章:第一章概述了典故这一语言现象并指出本文的研究目的——在概念整合理论的框架下对典故进行认知解读。第二章对典故的定义、特征、来源、功能以及形式进行了详细阐述。第三章概述概念整合理论,确定了本研究的理论框架。本章介绍了概念整合理论中的基本概念、原则及网络类型。第四章对所选语料用概念整合理论进行分析,选取典型例子、按照四类网络类型进行分析,揭示典故意义理解的认知过程,从而验证概念整合理论对典故的解释力。第五章对本研究做出总结并提出本研究的局限性及其对今后研究的启示。
