从功能对等角度试译赵本山小品中的歇后语

论文摘要

随着社会的发展,科学技术的进步,国际间经济、政治、文化等领域的联系日益加强。不同民族间的文化交流更加频繁,文化融合趋势势不可挡。经济全球化和经济多元化带来的是文化的多元化。语言是文化的载体,翻译是跨文化交际的主要桥梁,语言和文化密不可分。向外国翻译和介绍博大精深的中国文化,不仅是文化多元化和文化全球化的需要,也是让中国文化走向世界,让世界了解中国、实现中国文化现代化的需要。歇后语是汉语习语中一种独特的语言形式,是中国文化的一个组成部分,其结构在其他语言中几乎难以找到相应的表达方式。汉语中的歇后语是人民群众在生活实践中创造的一种语言形式,结构独特、形象生动、语气诙谐幽默、文化负荷厚重、民族特色浓重,是人民大众中广为流传、喜闻乐见的一种语言形式,不仅在社会各阶层口语中广泛使用,而且在古典和现、当代文学作品与文章中也随处可见。它不仅充分地展示了汉民族的语言风格,而且在日常交往中有独特效用,随着中西文化的交汇,对汉语歇后语英译的研究很有必要,而且有实际意义。赵本山小品在国内外广受欢迎,其中使用的歇后语展示了语言艺术的精髓,汉语的魅力也得到极大的提升,然而迄今为止尚未被任何已经确立的语言理论所研究,其语言也鲜有翻译尝试,因而本文将以赵本山小品中的歇后语为对象,运用等效翻译理论,通过剖析大量歇后语语言实例,从文化的角度对赵式小品中的歇后语进行英译尝试。这也是首次运用对等理论对赵式幽默歇后语进行英译尝试。翻译是一种以信息传递的方式,把一个原来用甲语言表达的信息改用乙语言来表达,使不懂甲语言的人也获得同样的信息,本文定位于分析汉语歇后语信息的对等传递效果。至于其意义的探究希望在将来的研究中有所拓展。希望本文能对这种深受大众喜爱的语言艺术的推广流传起到一定的作用。
