英国文学史分期问题研究 ——以20世纪80年代以来中国学者编著的英国文学史（通史）为研究对象

论文摘要

文学史是当今文学研究的一个热点,其下辖诸多子课题,文学史的分期问题研究就是其中之一。本文以20世纪80年代以来中国学者编撰的英国文学史(通史)著作为研究对象,对这些著作中分期实践的类别和方法进行具体分析与归纳,从中挖掘中国学者对英国文学史进行分期时所遵循的标准和指导他们进行分期的理论观念。通过分析,我们可以发现中国学者在英国文学史的分期上有自己的标准、观念和方法,他们已成功地构建了中国模式的英国文学史,初步形成了有中国特色的文学史分期方式。这将为今后英国文学史著作的编撰和研究工作提供借鉴和参考。本论文共由5章构成。第1章为引言,界定了研究对象并简要介绍论文的价值和基本框架。第2章为文献综述,主要介绍国内外学者在文学史及文学史分期方面已取得的成就、已发表的论文、已出版的著作等,并集中介绍作为研究对象的20本英国文学史(通史)著作。第3和第4章为论文的主体部分。具体而言,第3章对这20本著作中的分期实践进行归纳,将其分为3类,并阐述了各类的特点。第4章试图从具体的分期方法中透析中国学者所遵循的分期标准以及指导他们进行分期的理论观念。从分期实践中可以看出中国学者已从80年代的政治背景等标准逐步转向文学作品、类别、思潮等标准,即从文学外围标准转向文学本体标准。他们以历史唯物主义为理论指导,在充分吸收英美模式和苏联模式英国文学史的优点,并结合我国在文学史编撰上的优良传统的基础上成功地创建了有自己特色的中国模式的英国文学史及其分期方式。第5章为结论部分,通过对20部英国文学史著作分期实践的研究,本文展现了中国学者在英国文学史的分期方面所取得的成就,中国模式的英国文学史分期方法已经形成,但仍需进一步的完善和提高。
