从背景知识角度提高高中生英语听力理解

论文摘要

怎样提高高中生的英语听力能力,一直是国内外英语教学与研究中的热门话题。本论文讨论了高中英语教学中听力理解的重要性和学生听力理解能力普遍低下两者间的现实矛盾并提出假设:背景知识是否是影响高中生的英语听力理解能力的一个因素?教师在高中英语教学过程中能否通过背景知识训练来提高学生的英语听力理解能力?作者从理论角度出发,引用众多语言学家和心理学家的研究成果证明了背景知识是影响学生英语听力理解的一个重要因素。作者在理论支持的基础上对所代班级的学生进行了问卷和测试,通过数据分析再次证明了背景知识在高中生英语听力理解过程中的重要作用。并以此为侧重点训练学生提高听力理解能力,通过激活学生已有的背景知识,积累新的背景知识等方法来训练学生,以期找到对高中英语听力教学和学习有所启发的东西。训练一段时间之后,再次对学生进行问卷和测试,通过对所收集的数据进行分析,最后得出结论:在高中英语教学过程中进行背景知识训练可以提高学生的听力理解能力。
